A LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT
Let’s keep
things simple.
Help with your cases, your backups and your privacy.

QUICK HELP
Start here.
PCI Diary is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. These guides explain the app’s workflow; controls and availability may vary by version and platform.
A question or a suggestion?
Email a short description, your phone model, operating-system version and app version if available. Screenshots of settings or error messages are useful only when they contain no patient information.
connect@pcidiary.inFor privacy enquiries, use the same address and write “Privacy” in the subject.
How do I capture a case?
Open Capture, select a new or recent case when asked, and frame the cath-lab monitor inside the square. Take a photo or a short clip. On Hide names, check every proposed box, adjust as needed, then save. Retake returns to the camera.
Masking helps remove screen identifiers. Always check the full image yourself.
How do I compare Before and After?
Label shots Before or After as you capture them. The app pairs them in shooting order. Open the case to compare them, and change the Before paired with an After when necessary. A referral card uses the pair currently on screen.
How do I add notes or a debrief?
Open the debrief and tap the microphone, or type your words. Speech is transcribed on the phone when supported. Stop ends the recording. You can add a step and caption to a photo or clip in its viewer at any time.
Do I need to allow AI tidying?
No. You can decline the AI pop-up and keep your own notes. If allowed and online, Tidy with AI may start when you stop recording. It sends your recording and text, never your images. Review the result before Use this. Go back to my words restores the original text.
If tidying fails, your words remain saved. Check your connection and use Tidy with AI when you choose.
How do I back up my collection?
Open Backup and privacy and connect your own Google Drive. Backups use a visible PCI Diary Backup folder. Use Back up now and check the reported result. Mobile data is enabled by default and can be switched off. Make sure your Google account has enough storage.
Export everything is an alternative: it creates a zip that you can save through the share sheet. Keep that file somewhere safe outside the app.
How do I restore or change phones?
On your current phone, complete a backup and check its result, or save an export. On the new phone, use Restore from Google Drive, connect the same account and choose a backup. An exported zip can be brought back through Import. The app checks the files before merging cases.
Keep the original phone and your backup until you have checked the restored cases. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step without a verified backup.
What if my microphone or camera does not work?
Check the app’s camera, microphone and speech permissions in your phone’s settings. If on-device speech recognition is unavailable, type your debrief. Include your phone model, operating system, app version and the exact error in a support email, without patient information.
How do I remove my data?
Delete cases inside the app. To remove the whole local collection, first save anything you need, then remove the app. Historical Google Drive backups, device backups, exports and shared copies are separate. Manage or delete them in their own locations, including Drive’s bin where appropriate.
Disconnecting Google Drive stops future backups; it does not delete files already in your Drive. See the privacy policy for details.
Where will the app be available?
PCI Diary is coming soon to the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. Store links will be added here when available. We are not announcing a release date yet.
PCI Diary support is for using the app. It is not a service for patient consultations, treatment advice or emergencies.
